The UAE's Diverse Reality
Nearly 90% of people living in the UAE come from somewhere else. Over 200 nationalities call this place home. And yet, many people who've spent their whole lives here, both Emirati and international, still don't feel truly connected to each other.
That disconnect ripples outward. It makes real community harder to build. It keeps people at a distance from each other, from shared experiences, from the place they actually live.
Getting to know the people and cultures around you changes things. It's what turns coexistence into connection. Our planned programs focus on exactly that: helping people connect across backgrounds, whether that's learning Arabic, understanding Emirati traditions, or simply building real relationships instead of just living side by side.

Growing up in Saudi Arabia, and then moving to the UAE, I saw how easily people from different backgrounds could live side-by-side without ever really connecting. Baytuna was born from a simple belief: understanding creates belonging. Through language, culture, and most importantly, community, we want to help everyone, local and nonlocal alike, feel truly connected to each other and to the place they call home.
The UAE has 200 nationalities. We believe every one of them can feel at home.
